Having been educated in the Philadelphia School System, Elder Teto T. Saunders is a graduate of John Bartram High School. Choosing to further his education, he attended Widener University in Chester, PA majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1995. Although his major purpose was to receive a formal education, the Lord was fast at work in evidencing his calling and election upon the life of this young man. While singing and traveling with the Widener University Gospel Choir throughout the Tri-State area and Maryland, the Teto Saunders of that day, had unknowingly begun his transformation from one who travels with Godly people, to one who now knows God intimately, having surrendered his life to the Lord.

In 1990, Elder Teto T. Saunders aligned himself as a member of Fellowship Tabernacle Church (FTC) underthe direction and Pastoral Leadership of Bishop Robert M. Taylor, Sr., wherehe served in many capacities of ministry. While serving as Trustee Board Chairman he received and acknowledged the call of God to preach the gospel.Deciding to make his calling and election sure, he actively participated in the rigid Ministerial Training Program and Christian

Education Department at FTC. Determining to show himself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth, like Christ, Elder Saunders was able to grow in wisdom and

stature, gaining favor with God and man. Choosing to further his christian education, he eagerly anticipates receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology in the year 2008.

In 2004, having previously received licensure to the office of Ordained Elder, this young man received and positively responded to the Lord's call to pastoral leadership. With great anticipation and excitement, Elder Teto T.  Saunders was installed as the Pastor and Founder of New Birth Fellowship Tabernacle
